Hello, my name is Jill Paradee and I am so excited to be joining the Sheldon Elementary school this year as a first-grade teacher! This will be my second year teaching elementary school and my first year teaching in Vermont!

I grew up in Fairfield, Vermont, where I attended Fairfield Center School. I then attended, Bellows Free Academy St. Albans for high school and then moved to New York to attend the State University of New York at Plattsburgh. There I received a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a Master's degree in Special Education. I stayed in New York for a year teaching second grade before I decided to move home to be closer to my family and friends!

In my free time, I love to spend time with my family and be outside. I also enjoy going for walks in the woods or curling up with a good book and my black lab, Nova.
